This medium vase has an images of two flying Lapwings both on the front and the back. It has convex shapes of ammonites both front and back. It is watertight and will hold water for a small posy of flowers. It has a foot ring with an ammonite detail on the base. It is made from stained parian, a form of porcelain created by the Victorians to emulate marble.
